• Database of incorporated companies

  The database contains all effective and cancelled data of all operating and cancelled enterprises registered in Hungary since 1989. The information package that is more extensive than the Company Gazette and is updated on a weekly basis includes the date of effect and, if applicable, the date of cancellation of data, the subcategory code (denoting the order of entries in the respective item of the articles of incorporation) together with the source of information.

  Although the database relies on the official source of the Ministry of Justice and Law Enforcement, corrections may be necessary (e.g. wrong or missing tax number, missing company register number, misspelt name etc.). We continuously correct mistakes and complete missing data as detected to ensure that our clients get reliable results from segmentation, arrangement and analysis of data, whether for marketing or risk management purposes.

  The information package also enables detailed descriptions regarding the procedure data of incorporated enterprises registered in Hungary and budgetary agencies.

• Database of Financial Statements

  Among enterprises providing company information, Opten Ltd. is the only one that has been officially purchasing the financial statements (balance sheet and profit and loss account data) of Hungarian enterprises from the Ministry of Justice and Law Enforcement for years. These data constitute the backbone of Opten Ltd.’s single-format database that is used with success, among others, by several banks in Hungary, as it contains all complete financial statement data sets since 2002.

• Receivables database

  The continuously updated receivables management database contains the information that enterprises do not readily disclose to their competitors or partners.

  For better handling and structured searching, enterprises, budgetary agencies and non-profit organisations are grouped into two categories: those towards which there are “existing claims” and those towards which there are “disputable claims”.

  In both cases, users can view the gross amounts of the claims towards the debtors, the date of issuing and the due date of the respective invoices as well as the debtors’ comments regarding disputable claims. However, information on the creditor and the date of settlement are not available.

  Receivables data provided by users are entered into the system in a regulated manner. The comprehensive service based on the liquidation and insolvency proceedings information officially published in the Company Gazette is completed with collected receivables data and information on judicial enforcement.

• Database of private entrepreneurs, non-profit organisations and budgetary agencies

  The three databases that are updated on a monthly basis contain not only the date of registration and termination of the organisation or entrepreneur, but also the data of the revenues (except in case of budgetary agencies) and staff categories since 2004.
